CAIR To Join Sharpton & Jackson In DC For 50th Anniversary Of MLK's "Dream" Speech ~> Full Video Report

Call us racist or whatever you want, but, Martin Luther King fought against folks like CAIR, Al-Qaeda, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. 

The Council on American-Islamic Relations and other Muslims groups will be joining the March on Washington 50th-anniversary event on Wednesday morning.

CAIR, America’s largest Muslim advocacy group, will be joined by the D.C. Muslim Caucus, Islamic Relief USA and the Muslim American Citizens Coalition and Public Affairs Council, a press release obtained by The Washington Times said.

“Islamophobia … is just the latest manifestation of the same intolerance faced by Dr. King and other civil rights leaders of his time,” CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement. “Like other forms of intolerance, Islamophobia is a threat to our nation’s values and to the social tapestry that continues to draw people to our shores from every nation on earth.”

… In a clip from PoliticsNation, Sharpton accused O’Reilly of “attacking the poor” and calling them “parasites,” a word the host did use in his original piece.

“Sharpton obviously taking my comments totally out of context,” O’Reilly said, before dropping “the crusher” on his MSNBC rival. “He’s been portraying me as a racist and a ‘brutalizer’ of the poor,” O’Reilly said, before revealing that a few years ago Sharpton came to him asking for money for his charity in Harlem so that it could “provide Christmas presents and Christmas dinners to hundreds of poor people.”

O’Reilly said he donated $25,000 to Sharpton’s charity for the gifts and food. “I never mentioned it,” he said, “because it wasn’t necessary to mention it. But now it is. To prove exactly what kind of person Sharpton is.”

In an interview with the Daily Beast published Friday, Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) suggested Tea Partiers are the "same group" who fought for segregation during the Civil Rights movement. 

“It is the same group we faced in the South with those white crackers and the dogs and the police. They didn’t care about how they looked," Rangel said.

Because of this, Rangel said the Tea Party could be defeated using the same tactics employed against Jim Crow.

"It was just fierce indifference to human life that caused America to say enough is enough. ‘I don’t want to see it and I am not a part of it.’ What the hell! If you have to bomb little kids and send dogs out against human beings, give me a break,” said Rangel.

NAACP Demand DOJ & Obama File Federal Hate Crime Charges Against Zimmerman ~> Full Report

The NAACP is calling for the Department of Justice to prosecute George Zimmerman for shooting Florida teen Trayvon Martin, with President Benjamin Jealous saying the organization is "outraged and heartbroken" over the trial jury's not guilty verdict.

"We will pursue civil rights charges with the Department of Justice, we will continue to fight for the removal of Stand Your Ground laws in every state, and we will not rest until racial profiling in all its forms is outlawed," Jealous said in a statement released after the verdict.

The Justice Department had already opened a civil rights probe in the Zimmerman case before the case came to trial, ABC reports, and a spokeswoman said Saturday the department will continue to "evaluate the evidence generated during the federal investigation, as well as the evidence and testimony from the state trial."

The Rev. Al Sharpton called Zimmerman's acquittal a "slap in the face to the American people," while insisting the trial "is only the first round in the pursuit of justice."

"We intend to ask the Department of Justice to move forward as they did in the Rodney King case and we will closely monitor the civil case against Mr. Zimmerman," Sharpton said Saturday. "I will convene an emergency call with preachers tonight to discuss next steps and I intend to head to Florida in the next few days."
