“Some may say the map is alarmist,” the embassy said in a community post on BuzzFeed. “Undeniably, the map is our geopolitical reality, and we will be vigilant in protecting our people and our borders.”

Text on the map describes the myriad of threats: terror organization Hezbollah’s arsenal of 70,000 rockets in Lebanon which Israel says can hit all parts of Israel; Syria, where President Bashar Assad’s army possesses chemical weapons and ballistic missiles and where global radical Islamists are now also amassing; Gaza, where Hamas possesses 10,000 rockets; the West Bank where radical forces oppose Palestinian Authority rule; and the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt which has become a lawless magnet for Al Qaeda-linked groups.

As U.S. and Western top generals meet in the Middle East Monday to deliberate their next move, Israelis are flocking to distribution centers to pick up gas masks, fearing Syrian retaliation should the regime of President Bashar Assad be attacked.

Israel’s Postal Authority, which is responsible for handing out civilian gas masks, reported a three-fold increase in home delivery orders of chemical weapons kits which include gas masks and a nerve gas antidote.

According to Israeli Home Front Command figures, only 60% of Israelis have collected their protective kits in the distribution campaign which has continued for several years, though in the north of the country, a larger percentage possesses the kits, 69 percent in Haifa and 72 percent in Nahariya.

Syria’s Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi over the weekend warned the Middle East would turn into “a ball of fire that would burn not only Syria but the whole Middle East” if the U.S. were to launch a military strike.

“The most dangerous regimes in the world must not be allowed to possess the most dangerous weapons in the world,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at his weekly cabinet meeting Sunday, apparently drawing a parallel with Iran, which Israel believes is working to develop nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu also voiced a veiled warning should Syria be considering a retaliatory attack on Israel. “…Our finger must always be on the pulse,” Netanyahu said. “Ours is a responsible finger and if necessary, it will also be on the trigger.”

“We will always know to defend our people and our state against whoever attacks us, tries to attack us or has attacked us,” the Israeli Prime Minister said.

Israel’s Channel 2 is quoting Israeli military sources who say they do not believe that Syria will launch a military attack on Israel were it to face a U.S. strike. “Israel’s estimation is that Assad would not retaliate against Israel” but that precautions were being taken nonetheless, Channel 2 reported, as quoted by the Times of Israel.

Channel 2 also reported that Israeli military officials believe the U.S. will give Israel advance warning of any strike on Syria if it’s decided to move forward with that scenario. 

It further reported that Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel spoke over the weekend with Israel’s Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon about the possible ramifications of a U.S. military intervention. Gen. Dempsey also spoke with Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz to update him on American deliberations.

A U.S. military response to alleged chemical weapons attacks in Syria appeared more likely on Sunday after Washington dismissed the Syrian government's offer to allow U.N. inspection of the sites as "too late to be credible."

A senior official of the U.S. administration said there was little doubt the Syrian government had used chemical weapons against civilians in suburbs of Damascus last week and that President Barack Obama was weighing how to respond.

A year ago, Obama said the use of chemical weapons in Syria's war would be a "red line" for the United States. However, Obama has been reluctant to intervene in Syria and U.S. officials stressed that he has yet to make a decision on how to respond.

U.S. lawmakers from both political parties urged a limited American military response, such as cruise missile strikes, but a senior Democrat, Senator Jack Reed, cautioned that any move by Washington should not be unilateral.

Senator Bob Corker, the top Republican on the Foreign Relations Committee, said he had discussed the issue with the administration in the past week and believed Obama would ask Congress for authorization for intervention once Congress returns from its recess on September9.

"I think we will respond in a surgical way and I hope the president as soon as we get back to Washington will ask for authorization from Congress to do something in a very surgical and proportional way," he told Fox News Sunday.

Americans strongly oppose U.S. intervention in Syria's civil war and believe Washington should stay out of the conflict even if the reports are true that the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons, a Reuters/Ipsos poll says.

About 60 percent of those surveyed in the poll said the United States should not intervene, meaning Obama would have to make a convincing case to the American public for any action that he would decide to take.

Russia on Sunday warned the United States against repeating the "mistakes of the past" in Syria, saying any U.S. action should not bypass the United Nations. Iran, another key ally of Assad, said Washington should not cross a "red line" by attacking Syria, while Syria's information minister said any U.S. military action would "create a ball of fire."

WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. naval forces are moving closer to Syria as President Barack Obama considers military options for responding to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad government. The president emphasized that a quick intervention in the Syrian civil war was problematic, given the international considerations that should precede a military strike.

The White House said the president would meet Saturday with his national security team to consider possible next steps by the United States. Officials say once the facts are clear, Obama will make a decision about how to proceed.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel declined to discuss any specific force movements while saying that Obama had asked the Pentagon to prepare military options for Syria. U.S. defense officials told The Associated Press that the Navy had sent a fourth warship armed with ballistic missiles into the eastern Mediterranean Sea but without immediate orders for any missile launch into Syria.

U.S. Navy ships are capable of a variety of military action, including launching Tomahawk cruise missiles, as they did against Libya in 2011 as part of an international action that led to the overthrow of the Libyan government.

(Reuters) - U.S. and allied intelligence agencies have made a preliminary assessment that chemical weapons were used by Syrian forces in an attack near Damascus this week, likely with high-level approval from the government of President Bashar al-Assad, according to American and European security sources.

The early intelligence finding could increase pressure for action by President Barack Obama, who made clear that he planned to tread cautiously even as his aides sought to narrow their differences in debate over possible military responses to the Syrian government.

The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, cautioned that the assessment was preliminary and, at this stage, they were still seeking conclusive proof, which could take days, weeks or even longer to gather.

But with a mounting international outcry over the apparent mass poisoning of hundreds of people, the issue appeared to have taken on a sense of urgency for the Obama administration.In his first public comments since Wednesday's attack in the Damascus suburbs, Obama called the incident a "big event of grave concern" and one that demanded U.S. attention.

Among many other things, one major difference between Bibi and Obama is, when Bibi speaks everybody listens. When Obama speaks, nobody gives a damn.

"We are operating on all fronts, in the north and south, in order to protect the citizens of Israel from these attacks,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Thursday in the aftermath of a Katyusha rocket salvo fired at northwestern Israel.

"We are using a variety of measures – of both defense and porevention – and we are operating in a responsible manner. Our policy is clear: to protect and also to prevent.

"Anyone who hurts us, and anyone who tries to hurt us, must know that we will hit him.”

Four rockets were fired from Lebanon Thursday afternoon, with at least one confirmed as having struck in the area of Nahariya.

Several residents have been treated for shock.

IDF Radio reported that bomb shelters in the northern city of Akko (Acre) have been opened for public use, and the IDF is urging residents of the north to remain close to shelters.

The IDF has denied earlier reports from Arabic media that it responded to the rockets with artillery fire.

Lebanese media has been reporting that at least 2 of the rockets were fired from the Ras al-Ain neighborhood of the city of Tyre.

The IDF spokesperson's unit has said it believes the rockets were fired by "global jihad" terrorists - another term for Al Qaeda-linked or inspired Sunni terroristsת as opposed to the Shia Hezbollah terrorist group.

One rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, between Akko and Nahariya, the IDF said. Three others struck in "open areas."
Earlier this month, four IDF soldiers suffered light to moderate injuries on the Israel-Lebanon border, when a bomb was set off as they passed.

That attack was later claimed by Hezbollah.

This would not be the first time Sunni Islamist groups affiliated with the "global jihad" or Al Qaeda ideology have fired rockets from Lebanon into Israel.

Arieh Herzog, a former director of the Israeli defense ministry's Missile Defense Administration, warned "this kind of attack could provide (provoke) very serious action from our side."

Obama's Syrian/Al-Qaeda Rebels Behind Chemical Attack ~> Multiple Video Evidence

Barracuda Brigade has spent the day researching the chemical attack in Syria. We've spent hours searching and viewing videos and articles. The research has revealed the following: 

1. The Rebels claim of a rocket attack are an absolute lie. 

2. The blaming of Assad is a total "set-up." 

3. The Rebels/Al-Qaeda are the ones who launched this chemical attack. 

How can we be so certain of this? We encourage all who read this watch the verified videos below from the attack zone, here is what you will find: 

1. Not one person in any video displays any type of wounds expected with a rocket barrage attack. Note the total absence of open and bleeding wounds. 

2. If there was an attack by rockets, where are the videos of the "impact sites?" Where are the videos of the rocket attack as it happened? Where are the videos showing debris from the ordinances? Where are the doctors describing all the shrapnel wounds? We have searched for 12 hours to find them, fact is, there aren't any. Why? Because it never happened.

3. Note the folks surrounding the victims, no gloves, masks or chemical suits. Yet, the "exposed" parties display no symptoms. Sarin nor VX work that way. These chemicals transfer by touch, breathing etc.. These unprotected folks should be "dropping like flies."

4. If Assad did this, why are there no "Rebel" fighters among the victims? The "Rebels would be the target, they're the ones trying to topple Assad. What military gain to killing women and children? Al-Qaeda is not gonna "give up the fight" due to a chemical attack, death in battle equals paradise and 72 virgins.

5. Research the publish times of these and other videos. Many are shown by YouTube with a publish date of 8/20/13. The attack supposedly happened at 2 am. on 8/21/13. Also, countless videos seem to show sunlight angles inconsistent with a 2 am. event.

The question that truly needs to be answered now is, why was Obama, Cameron and others so quick to accept the Rebels claim? Is it possible Obama "Green-Lighted" this slaughter to open a door to intervene in Syria? He does have a history of this type of behavior. Any doubts see Benghazi, Libya and Egypt for starters.

We've posted countless stories on Al-Qaeda and Arming the Syrian Rebels. Long ago we stopped counting the number of people who called us crazy. Over and over they said, "no way Obama would ever do such a thing. Why are you lying and slandering him?" We can only imagine the next allegations being, you're making up fake videos of verified facts now recited in the halls of Congress.

On 9-11-2001, Al-Qaeda led by Bin-Laden and Zawahari launched the "Mother of all Terrorist Attacks." That night they drank wine, danced and celebrated the death of over 3000 Americans. Where were you that dark and evil Tuesday? 

Like us, did you smell the jet fuel, metal and flesh burning as the smoke spread over our Nation? Were you prepared when the cameras and our souls were violently and permanently pierced, as the 2nd Tower was hit? Do the screams still haunt you, as Tower 1 fell? Does the anger and pain remain, as Tower 2 fell? Who were you calling or holding as Rumsfeld was dragged out of a burning and collapsing Pentagon, as he frantically tried to find and pull the survivors out? Do you still feel the wind carrying flight 93's heroic last message, "Lets Roll?"

Who else still feels the pain we do from that day? Are we the only ones whose eyes are incapable of holding back the tears when reminded of that day? Are the tears flowing now from our eyes as we create this post, are they the final tears America has left? 

Did you pray as the funerals and memorials took place? Like us, were you devastated and transfixed, unable to look away? Did you raise your voice and chant USA, USA, USA, when President Bush rallied our nation and the civilized world, declaring, "They'll hear from all of us, real soon?" 

Were you unaware the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Palestinians and millions of Islamic terrorists and psychopaths celebrated the deaths, grief and pain we were experiencing? Were we the only ones who understood loud and clear, who the enemy is? 

How many times did the Battle Hymn of the Republic, Taps and Amazing Grace mournfully harmonize, echoing to our loved ones, lost in Heaven? Is there anybody left who no matter where you are, when you hear these songs, see visions of Tuesday 9-11-2001 and the days that followed; as if it were happening live?

America, for the grace of God and our children's future, wake up before it's too late. Obama is arming Al-Qaeda, the Brotherhood, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Palestinians. Each and everyone of these terrorist groups are declared enemies of America, Israel, Britain, Australia, Europe and the entire civilized world. 

Obama lied to you, he lied to us and he lied to the entire world. The Benghazi You-Tube video was and is the biggest "Red Herring" in America's history. He lied to the UN's General Assembly two weeks after the Benghazi attack. Five times in his speech he blamed that video for the Benghazi terror attack, two full weeks after the fact. That's not "Battlefield Confusion" or "Evolving Assessments," it's a bold faced, unadulterated series of premeditated lies. 

He told the General Assembly and the world in that speech, "The future must not belong to those who insult the Prophet." For the record, not converting to Islam is defined as insulting the Prophet, thus the justification to Kill the Infidels. Obama was raised a Muslim in Indonesia. This fact is beyond any refute. He became a Brotherhood member before he turned fourteen. He damn well knows, not converting is insulting. 

Make no mistake, Obama's outrageous "Prophet" statement is a coded battle cry for Islam and the Caliphate. Translated into it's actual meaning it reads: "The future will belong to Islam and the Prophet." Guess what, the only way that happens, America, Israel, our allies and all freedom loving people must die.

Any Egyptian who's not a Brotherhood member will tell you this is accurate. They've experienced first hand Obama's battle cry manifested into reality. Hundreds of thousands, perhaps a half million Christians were murdered in cold blood by Morsi and the Brotherhood in the time they controlled Egypt. Why, they insulted the Prophet; they didn't convert.

Joints Chief of Staff General Dempsey has recently submitted "War Plans" for Syria. He detailed five options. All five require the arming, funding and aiding of Al-Qaeda.Three and possibly four options would actually have American military forces fighting side by side with Al-Qaeda on the battlefield. Is there anyone out there besides Barracuda Brigade and Michele Bachmann who has a seriously major problem with this? 

In closing, can somebody, anybody, rationally and without political talking points answer the following questions:

What possible National Security Interest of the United States is so important and at risk in Syria that we would become allies with the the Rabid Animals that carried out the 9-11 attacks on us?

How is it possible when Federal Law states any American citizen aiding Al-Qaeda or any known foreign terrorist or terrorist group will result in Federal arrest, prosecution and imprisonment, that Obama is still a free man?

Finally, the Constitution defines Treason among other things as an act or acts where one deliberately aids or abets the known enemy. Therefore, when it is universally acknowledged that the Syrian Rebels are in fact Al-Qaeda, why has our military not arrested and removed Obama from office?

For those who are catching up on yesterday's events in Egypt, you missed history. Barracuda Brigade has followed this story since it's beginning with Obama's 2009 Cairo speech. He planted the seed, sent "Community Organizers" to Egypt and removed a 30 year ally {Mubarak} in 2011. This was an organized effort with his Muslim Brotherhood.{Obama is in fact a member of the Hood} No, we know, that's not what the Lame-Stream told ya at the time; but it's a fact. Hood leader Morsi {close personal friend of Obama} is installed as "President." He declares the constitution void. Egypt's Supreme Court is stripped of any authority over the President. Morsi proceeds to run weapons and terrorists in partnership with Obama to Al-Qaeda, Hamas and numerous other terrorist groups, including the Hood themselves. Many of the weapons and fighters are now in Syria as part of the "Rebels."

Meanwhile Morsi dictates Egypt into a Sharia Islamic State. The economy tanks, Christians are murdered by the hundreds of thousands. Obama gives Morsi billions in our money knowing this is going on. He also sends F-16's, tanks, you name it.

By June 2013, Egypt's people realize, Obama set them up. They look around and realize, Egypt has been turned into a 21st century "Medieval State." Egypt's military responds to the people by removing Morsi and the Brotherhood, in July 2013. The Brotherhood has since waged a "War of Terrorism" on Egypt's people. 72 hours ago the leading General in Egypt {Sissi} asks her citizens to "Give the military a mandate. Take to the streets, tell us you want us to finish the terrorists;" aka: Muslim Brotherhood.

Yesterday the people heeded the call. Tens of millions took to the streets telling the military...Destroy the Brotherhood. Morsi is formally charged with multiple crimes including "Conspiring with Hamas." Obama at the same time, uses "Executive Order" to override Congress's rejection of billions to Hamas. The money is on it's way to Hamas. This, after cutting off F-16's and all aid shipments to Egypt, since the Brotherhood's removal. Obama repeatedly has called for Morsi's release and "safe legal passage" for all Hood members who slaughtered Egypt's Christians. Our Ambassador there Patterson has told the Brotherhood, "the White House is with you."

Like all good terrorists, when attacked; they run to the United Nations and the Liberal Media. They cry, "Look what they're doing to us." Yes, blood is being spilled, but there is no alternative. You cannot reason with terrorists and that is exactly what the Brotherhood is; terrorists. America's citizens must stand with Sissi, the military and Egypt's freedom loving citizens, "Don't Get Wobbly." The UN, the media are gonna paint this as a massacre, it's not. This is a campaign to rid Egypt of the terrorist group known as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Morsi Formally Arrested and Charged with Conspiring with Hamas ~> Military Gives Brotherhood Ultimatum ~> Prepares to Act ~> Full Report

Egyptian judicial authorities accused the ousted President Mohammed Morsi of conspiring with the Palestinian militant group Hamas, increasing tensions as demonstrators massed in Cairo and other cities.

The allegations also include attacks on security buildings, jailbreaks, murder and abduction, the state-run Middle East News Agency reported today. Tens of thousands of supporters of the former president flocked to Cairo’s Rabaa el-Adawiya square, while hundreds of his opponents gathered in Tahrir Square, amid warnings the continuation of more than a month of protests risks dragging Egypt deeper into conflict.

Clashes later broke out between Morsi’s backers and opponents, the police chief in Cairo’s Shubra district said by phone.

The military last night issued a 48-hour ultimatum and said that from today its tactics in dealing with violence and terrorism would change. It didn’t give any details.

Morsi has been held at an undisclosed location since July 3, when street protests culminated in his removal by the army. His supporters have held daily protests since then, demanding the former president’s reinstatement leading to the deaths of almost 100 people in clashes.

“It’s becoming increasingly untenable for president Morsi to be detained for almost a month now without being charged with anything,” putting pressure on the authorities to announce a judicial process has begun, Yasser el-Shimy, a Cairo-based analyst with the International Crisis Group, said today by phone. “It’s likely to inflame the sentiments of the pro-Morsi crowd.”

Broad Mandate

Military chief Abdelfatah al-Seesi urged Egyptians on July 24 to take to the streets today to give the military and police a broad mandate to combat “violence” and “terrorism.” Al- Seesi, who was appointed defense minister by Morsi, announced his overthrow on July 3, declaring a road map which installed constitutional court chief Adly Mansour as interim president.

Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohammed Badie said al-Seesi’s speech made it clear that “he’s the real ruler of the country. He urged Egyptians to rally in defense of ‘‘freedom and legitimacy’’ and to announce ‘‘your rejection of the military coup.’’

Numbers of protesters are expected to rise toward the evening as the weather cools, especially in the current month of Ramadan, when Muslims fast from dawn till sunset.

Brotherhood Opponents

Al-Seesi’s request for Egyptians to rally today ‘‘is designed to reframe the conflict with the Muslim Brotherhood as a war on terror,’’ Hani Sabra, Middle East director at the Eurasia Group in New York, said in an emailed statement Thursday.

Opponents of the Brotherhood, including youth groups and secular-leaning parties, accuse Islamists of deadly violence, including a surge in militant attacks in Sinai against military and police positions. A number of armed supporters of Morsi were detained this week as they tried to attack a rival sit-in in Tahrir Square, the heart of the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak, state-run media reported.

Major General Osama Askar, commander of Egypt’s Third Field Army, said Wednesday that 19 Grad rockets intercepted by the military on the Suez-Cairo highway were of the same brand as those used by Hamas’s military wing Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, and were on their way to Cairo “to help the Muslim Brotherhood against the Egyptian people.


“The confiscated rockets were enough to destroy an entire neighborhood, indicating they were on their way to be used in terror activities against the Egyptian people,” Askar told the Egyptian news site Aswat Masriya. He added that smuggled army uniforms captured by his troops last Sunday “were enough for an entire army.”


Egyptian media has long accused Hamas of collaborating with Sinai jihadists in destabilizing Egypt’s national security, accusations Hamas has been at pains to deny. Askar’s comments will be more difficult for Hamas’s leadership to rebuff.


With terrorist and criminal activity seen as emanating from smuggling tunnels between Sinai and Gaza, the Egyptian army has taken control of 39 tunnel openings in Sinai since early June, confiscating tons of fuel, building materials and food headed for the Gaza Strip, local media reported.

On Tuesday, Hamas spokesman Ihab Ghosein threatened to sue Egyptian media outlets that incite against Hamas, claiming that a premeditated campaign backed by certain Egyptian politicians has been waged “to tarnish the true image of the Palestinian people.”
